Hi, I’m Richard Anthony, Visual Storyteller, the holy grail of videographers! You may have heard the Urban legend of the Bride who changed her wedding date so I could attend! (the legend is true- however it was my wife)
Ever since I was young, I knew film was my passion. My first video camera was on one of those huge VHS recorders I bought at Kmart. My first video production was an awesome music video I made in Los Angeles to the song by Randy Newman “I love LA” (not the official video).
In college I focused on Film production and made it all the way to the Student Academy Awards for a documentary I filmed here in Tucson.
I began New Era Productions in 2004 and have focused primarily on wedding, event and corporate videography. I’m fortunate enough to love what I do and do what I love.
When it comes to wedding videography, I wear my heart on my sleeve and my camera on my shoulder (or Tripod), as I capture the emotional moments that make your wedding uniquely yours. I consider myself an expert at recording the touching glances, heartfelt speeches, and expressions of joy you’ll want to remember.
Unobtrusively capturing all the details that make your wedding day unique, New Era wedding Videography creates a compelling visual story of the moments that matter most to you. Artistically composing your movie I connect with the personalities to fill your film with emotion, meaning and atmosphere.
More recently I added the Photo Booth rental business to New Era. Our Tucson and Phoenix based Photo Booths have been a big success and I love the fun and excitement they create at an event or wedding. Integrating video into the Photo Booth experience and creating fun, exciting YouTube trailers has given me a whole new avenue of creativity.
